Instagram Introduced New Limit Interactions Feature | Instagram Update

Instagram has rolled out new features in the note section and also introduced a limit interactions feature. These new features make Instagram give a better experience than before. There are three new features have been added in the note section. This update was announced by Instagram on the Thread social media platform. Let’s see all the new features in detail.

New Instagram Notes Features

Earlier, users could share their thoughts or music on Instagram notes. But now users can post any questions on the notes and their friends can post notes as a response to that question.

The second feature is that users can like their friends’ notes by simply clicking on the heart icon or by double-tapping on that note.

Users can mention their friends in notes by adding ‘@’ and their username.

Limit Interactions Feature on Instagram

There is also another feature introduced by Instagram called ‘Limit Interactions Feature’. This feature is introduced for safety purposes. Users will not receive messages, tags, and mentions from the selected users by enabling this feature. This feature is enabled for a temporary period. The time limit for this feature is between one day to four weeks.

How To Use Limit Interactions Feature On Instagram?

To enable this limit interaction feature, you have to make some changes in the settings. Here are the steps to be followed to limit the interactions.

Go to your settings and privacy section and select the ‘Limit Interactions’ option. After that, you will see a few options showing ‘What will be limited’, ‘Who will be limited’, and ‘When we will remind you to turn this off’. Select the ‘What will be limited’ to limit the comments, story replies, tags, and mentions. Select ‘Who will be limited’ to limit the users. In this you have three options, ‘Everyone but your close friends’, ‘Recent followers’, and ‘Accounts that don’t follow you’. And, in ‘When we will remind you to turn this off’ you have to select the limit time.
