But consumers who are using more than 500 units of electricity can pay electricity bill in WhatsApp. Other than this, users can also pay their electricity bills via Google Pay, Phonepe, and other net banking options.

The call center number is also used to pay electricity bill in WhatsApp. The officials advised to ensure the security of the phone number by looking for the TANGEDCO logo and the green color verification tick mark. The phone number is 94987 94987.

How To Pay Electricity Bill In WhatsApp?

Here are the steps to pay the electricity bill via WhatsApp.

After the completion of the meter reading, a WhatsApp message with a link will be sent to consumers who use more than 500 units of electricity.

It is said that the link has two options View Bill and Pay Bill. By clicking on the View Bill option, consumers will able to see the electricity bill amount details. On the other hand, by clicking on the Pay Bill option, consumers will able to pay the electricity bill using UPI payment options.
