Electric passenger vehicle market share multiplied in Walk 2023. As per the Alliance of Auto Sellers Affiliation (FADA), the year-on-year (YoY) market share of electric passenger vehicles has multiplied to 2.6 percent in Spring, against 1.3 percent in Walk 2022.

FADA is the zenith public body of the auto retail industry in India took part in the deal, administration and extras of a few wheelers, passenger vehicles, utility vehicles, business vehicles and farm trucks.

As per FADA’s information for electric vehicles, retail deals of electric passenger vehicle (PV) in Walk 2023 has seen a YoY development of 130%.

A sum of 8,566 electric passenger vehicles were sold in Walk 2023 as against 3,718 units sold a year sooner. Regarding month-on-month (Mother) deals, it has seen a 87.85 percent development. During February this year, a sum of 4,560 electric passenger vehicles were sold.

Goodbye Engines beat the deal graph by selling 7,137 electric passenger vehicles out of the absolute of 8,566 units sold in Spring.

As per FADA, vehicle retail information have been grouped as on April in a joint effort with the Service of Street and Move and have been accumulated from 1,349 street transport workplaces out of 1,435 RTOs.

Deals of electric bikes have seen a 57.71 percent YoY development during Walk 2023. A sum of 85,793 electric bikes were sold in Spring this year, against 54,400 units sold in Walk 2022. The market share of electric bikes developed to 5.9 percent from 4.2 percent in Walk 22.

Deals of electric three-wheelers have seen a 82.21 percent YoY development during Spring. A sum of 45,229 electric three-wheelers were sold in Spring this year, against 24,823 unit sold in Walk 2022. The market share of electric three-wheelers developed to 52.1 percent from 48.2 percent in Spring a year ago.

Deals of electric business vehicles have seen a 171.32 percent YoY development during Walk 2023. A sum of 350 electric business vehicles were sold in Spring this year, against 129 units sold in Spring the year before. The market share of business electric vehicles developed to 0.38 percent from 0.15 percent in Spring a year ago.
