Update Samsung Smart TV Software

Outdated TV software may be a reason. This can be resolved by updating the TV software.

Step 1: Go to ‘Menu’ on your smart TV.

Step 2: Go to the ‘Support Section’ in the Menu.

Step 3: Select the ‘Software Update’ and check for updates, if any update is available, update the software. Then, the TV will be updated and restarted.

Check Wifi Password

Check your Wifi password carefully. Sometimes, the password goes wrong at the uppercase and lowercase differences.

Step 1: Go ‘Settings’ and select ‘Network Settings’ option.

Step 2: Select ‘Wifi Network’ and enter the correct network name and correct password.

Reset Network Settings

Step 1: Go to ‘Settings’ and select the ‘Connection Settings’ option.

Restart the TV and Router

A small glitch can be resolved by simply restarting the TV and router. Power off your TV and router, wait for 30 seconds, and turn on them. It may resolve the small glitches, if any.

Improve WiFi Signal Strength

Move your router closer to the TV. It is simpler, however effective. If you can’t move your router closer to the TV, you can use a Wifi extender.

Factory Reset

Factory reset deletes all your data, so back up the important data before performing factory reset.

Step 1: Go to ‘Settings’.

Step 2: Select the general settings menu and choose the ‘Reset’ option.

Step 3: You have to enter the security PIN and give confirmation to perform a factory reset. Before performing a factory reset, make sure that you have backup the important data.
